The community of St Stanislaus’ College is saddened by the devastating loss of Old Boy, Dan Robinson. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Dan’s parents Chris and Larry and to his brother Beau and his sister Kylie. Dan was a student at the College from 2004 until his graduation in Year 12 in 2006. Dan was a member of the 1st XV during 2004, 2005 (Captain) and 2006. In 2004, Dan travelled to Japan with the Stannies Squad to attend the SANIX Rugby Tournament in Fukuoka. Older brother Beau (who was in Year 12 at the time) captained the squad and Dan was the youngest member of the touring group. After leaving Stannies, Dan continued a close association with the school in his capacity as the Operations Officer for Gordon Rugby Club in Sydney
Dan was only 21 years old at the time of his death and he will be very much missed by our whole community.
A service will be held for Dan on Friday 5 February 2010 at 12.00 noon at St Brigid’s Church, Dubbo. Refreshments will be served afterwards at the Dubbo RSL Club.
