Girls Rugby

Today (16.08.2018) Kincumber High School was represented in the Central Coast Girls Rugby Sevens Gala Day by two KHS teams.

The U17 girls team (made up mostly of yr 10 &11 girls) played three rounds within their pool, coming away with a win and two losses. This team played exceptionally well all day and they were involved in some of the biggest and most exciting spectacles of the day.

The U15 girls team (made up of mostly yr 9 & a small number of yr 10 girls) started the day with a dominating win in their first game. This fantastic form continued throughout the day with their smallest winning margin being only 6 tries, only allowing one other team in the grand final the opportunity to score any points against them. In the end they won the day 4-2 over Wyong high school. The girls have now qualified for the state championships and are awaiting further information.

Mr Schofield would like to commend both KHS teams for displaying great sportsmanship and amazing athleticism.
Many thanks must also go to the parents and supporters on the day, who with their assistance make the day a success.
